[Eustache] Granerius, with the agreement of his wife Papia and his barons, confirms the gift made to St Mary of the Valley of Jehoshaphat by King Baldwin I at the request of his father Eustache Grenier. The gift consisted of a mahomeria situated outside Sidon, near the barbican that faces in the direction of Tyre, and a verger, including the gardener who cultivates it, together with his heirs, and a casale that Engerannus Luvet had given to the abbey. This was approved by Eustace’s brother Walter, in the presence of their mother Emma. Witnesses: Philippus sacerdos et canonicus ecclesiae Sydoniensis; Emma comitissa Joppe and Eustache’s mother; Willelmus Malet; Maengotus; Walterius; Raimundus; Ridendus; Theodericus. The gift is approved by Walterius, Eustache’s brother, in the presence of their mother
