text: Jun. 22. Acre. Baldwin, dei ordinante pietate Ierosolimorum rex quartus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the leprosary of St Lazarus outside the walls of Jerusalem. He confirms the sale to St Lazarus by Melenganus, a Syrian ra’is [Sirus regulus] of 13 carrucae of vines in the plain of Bethlehem for 1,500 besants and a horse. Witnesses: Radulfus Tyri electus; Adam regis capellanus; Hugo de Bethsan frater Templi; Symon Tiberiadensis; Clerembaldus vicecomes Accon; Willelmus de Barra; Guillelmus elemosinarius regis; Hugo de Anlans frater domus illius [St Lazarus], to whom was given the charter, which was written by Daniel clericus regis, the brother of Hugo Saliens in Bonum.

At the request of Hugo de Hybelino, Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Iherusalem Latinorum rex quartus confirms under seal the sale made to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre by Hugo of 2 casalia called Deirmusim and Huetdebes, which had been surrendered to him by Muisse Arrabit and his son Georgius, with the consent of the the comes Ascalonitanus, to whose feodum they belonged. The casalia, together with their villani, were sold for 3000 besants and were freed from all servitium dominium. Witnesses: Letardus archiepiscopus Nazarenus; Ricardus Andriensis episcopus; Arnulfus canonicus Nazarenus; Philippus domni regis capellanus; Stephanus regię cancellarię secretarius; Radulfus Anglicus Nazareni archiepiscopi clericus; of the barones and homines of the king, Amalricus comes Ascalonitanus; Henfredus de Torono constabularius; Guido Francigena; Guillelmus marescalcus; Abraham vicecomes Nazarenus; Otto de Risberge; Guido de Maneriis; Arbertus de Retesth; Godescalcus; Petrus foresterius. The charter was drawn up by Radulfus Bethleemitę episcopus regisque cancellarius.

At the request of Iohannes Gothmannus and of his son Ancherius and out of fraternal love for the canons of the Holy Sepulchre, Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Iherusalem Latinorum rex quartus, confirms under seal the sale to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre of the casalia of Bathaatep/Bethahatap, Derhassen, Derxerip, Culi and Uastinam Leonis for 1400 besants by Iohannes Gothmannus, with the agreement of his wife Amandala, his son Ancherius, Stephania the wife of Ancherius, and Helisabeth, the daughter of Iohannes and wife of Hugo dominus Cesariensis. The Holy Sepulchre will hold the casalia free of all servicium and dominium.
