Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Hierusalem Latinorum rex quartus, with the agreement of his mother Queen Melisende and his brother Amalricus comes Ascalonitanus, confirms under seal the gift made by Humfredus de Torono constabularius regis to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, in the service of Christ’s poor. With the agreement of his son Humfredus and his daughters, and of Gualterius Berythensis, in whose feodum it had been, and of Gualterius’s brothers Guido and Bernard, Humfredus de Torono gave half of the castellum of Paneas. Humfredus also gave the Hospital half of Castellum Novum, houses belonging to domna Albereha de Torono, 2 vineyards in the territory of Toron, which Guido de Scandalione had given, and a hospitale in Toron. Witnesses: Petrus archiepiscopus Tyrensis; Fredericus episcopus Achonensis; Adam episcopus Paneadensis; Girardus Sydoniensis; Guillelmus Tiberiadensis; Philippus Neapolitanus; Hugo Cęsariensis; Guormundus Tyberiadensis; Guido Francigena; Henricus Bubalus. At the request of Hugo de Hybelino, Baldwin, per gratiam dei in sancta Iherusalem Latinorum rex quartus confirms under seal the sale made to the canons of the Holy Sepulchre by Hugo of 2 casalia called Deirmusim and Huetdebes, which had been surrendered to him by Muisse Arrabit and his son Georgius, with the consent of the the comes Ascalonitanus, to whose feodum they belonged. The casalia, together with their villani, were sold for 3000 besants and were freed from all servitium dominium.
