text: Sept. 1 -31. Acre. Johan sire de Cesaire and Jehan de Ibelin promise to be guarantors of the sale made by King Henry of Cyprus to the church of Nicosia [before 1-31 September 1236], the text of which they incorporate in the record of their deed. Should the king default, they promise to help the church recover the 24000 besants owed to it if the sum has not been paid by the following April, but if they have to raise the money themselves, the church will surrender to them for 3 years the income of 2000 white besants it should have received. Eustorge arcevesque de Nicosie seals this deed in confirmation. Guarantors of the deed: Mesire P. archevesque de Cesarie; M. evesque de St George; Mesire T. evesque de Limison; Mesire G.
