text: Dec. 25 1177 - Aug. 31 1178. Balduinus Rufus and his wife Artemilia record that in the presence of domnus P[etrus] Sanctissimi Sepulcri prior and Robertus, his fellow canon, and other brothers of the Holy Sepulchre, they have given half of their house near [the church of] St John and have become confrater and consoror of the Holy Sepulchre. The house will be occupied by Balduinus and Artemilia during their lives. If either of them die, the surviving spouse can enter fully into fraternity, residing in the house while he or she lives. After the death of both the house will pass absolutely to the Holy Sepulchre. Witnesses: Henricus sacerdos; frater Raimundus; Bernardus mercator; Stephanus corvesarius; domnus Saxo; Raimundus Provincialis; Rodlandus Gerbinus; Pisanus; domna Calva.
