text: Dec. 25 1175 - Dec. 24 1176. Jerusalem. Jobert/Jobertus, maistre/magister of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, with the agreement of his brothers, transfers under seal into the possession of the sick in the hospital [Xenodoche], and to frere/frater Estiene/Stephanus hospitalier/hospitalarius the casalia of S. Maria and Caphaer, in order to provide white bread. Should the harvest at the casalia fail or be ruined with weeds, the Order’s treasury [tresor/thesaurus] will purchase wheat or it shall be supplied by the Order’s granary [grenier/granerium]. Each two patients should receive one loaf that should weigh the equivalent of 2 marci.
