Johannes Grifus, knight of Acre, with Agatha his wife, daughter of the late George de Vienna, in view of the many benefits they have received and shall receive from the Hospitallers, make this grant in free alms for the support of the infirm in their care, In the presence of the burgess court of Acre: magister Arnulfus de Perona, deputising for the viscount, Alarbus Raymundi de Curte, Gaufridus of Tiberias, Johannes Philippi et Henricus de Contes, jurati curiae Acconensis, frater Craphus, hospitalarius of Acre and representing the master, and I, Aliottus Uguiccionis, they grant to the Hospitallers as represented by Fr Joseph de Canci the treasurer their entire heritage with all its appurtenances which they have in Acre in Monte Musardo before the Hospitallers’ tower called Columberius. To the north it is between the road (ruga) called De Caldoreriis and the road called De Biscotto and the road (via) which goes east to west from the ruga De Biscotto as far as the ruga De Calderone or De Tribus Anellis and the house of Michael Caldorarius, which he rents from the Hospitallers. They also grant the annual rent of 16 Saracen besants payable in August, paid by Ysabella, widow of Ade Montifredi for the house on this property. They formally divest themselves of this property by handing over a baton to Fr Joseph. Agatha of her own volition swears on the gospels not to go against this grant in any way and renounces all her rights including Auxilium Velleiani and dower.
