. April 2. The Lateran. Pope Innocent IV writes to Bishop Bartolomeo of Limassol, relating that although the pope ordered the bishop not to repay his loan of 400 sterling marks with the incomes of his episcopate unless he first renders a full account of his expenditures and an inventory of the goods of his episcopate, since however the bishop is prepared to render account, the pope responds favourably to his prayers and grants him free faculty to repay his creditors with the aforesaid goods.
