. March 30. The Lateran. Pope Innocent IV writes a similar letter (see RRR 2966) to the bishop of Tortosa (Tartus) and Bishop [Opizo] of Tripoli, ordering them to put the patriarch or his agent in possession of the vacant church of Nicosia and its rights and appurtenances and to defend him so installed, using ecclesiastical censure without appeal, notwithstanding various obstacles, including that they are suffragans of the patriarch, who is closely related to the bishop of Tripoli.
