. September 12. Assisi. Pope Innocent IV writes to the bishop of Tripoli, responding to his prayers for his tranquillity by granting that he cannot be summoned to trial outside his diocese by a papal or legatine letter, no matter what it says, even if it claims that all papal indulgences are notwithstanding, unless the letter quotes explicitly and in full the text of this indulgence.
