. *February 5. Perugia. Pope Innocent IV writes to the archbishop of Tyre (Niccolò Lercari). He should not allow the brothers and master of the Hospital of Jerusalem to be molested on account of their possession of the castle of Ascalon given to the order by the then emperor, Frederick II.
