Sept. 1-30. With the agreement of his wife Helwisia, the daughter of King Aimery of Jerusalem and Cyprus, Raymond Rupen, Dei gratia princeps Antiochie, son of Raymond the first born son of Prince Bohemond of Antioch, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, represented by frater Garinus de Monte Acuto magister. He gives the city of Gabulum and Castellum Vetule with all rights, including the prince’s feudal lordship and the ligietas of all homines, milites and burgenses, having lands in these territories. He gives the Hospital the right to make war and truces with the Saraceni in the vicinity of Gabulum and Castellum Vetule. He and his homines will abide by them.
