Jan 6. Bartholomeus de Maisiera, originating in the diocese of Amiens, recognises the favour done to him by the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem in extricating him from imprisonment by the Muslims [pagani] and becomes a confrater of the Hospital. In the presence of Patriarch A[lbert] of Jerusalem, and dominus P. cesariensis archiepiscopus, he makes an eleemosynary grant, sealed by the patriarch, to the Hospital, giving it rents in Picardy. Witnesses: Johannes de Vileriis; Gotafridus de Guise; Girardus de Argival; Hugo de Spinosa; Macharius de Chaplenes; Petrus de Saintes; Halardus de Insula; Simon Platecorne; Rainaldus de Sancto Ciriaco; Terricus de Sancto Ylario; Guerricus de Vallecourt; Symon de Ribemont; Rainaldus de Garci; Godefridus de Flaveigni.
