May 1-31. Joscelin II, son of Joscelin the Great, divina clementia propitia Edessanus comes, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. He confirms the gifts made by his father and confirmed by King Baldwin II of a hospital [hospitale], situated in the casale of Turbascellum, and the church of S. Romanus, with the consent of Franco Tuluppensis archiepiscopus. Joscelin also confirms everything the Hospital of St John held on the day he was given the county. The charter of gift is written by Oelardus, praedicte ecclesie et pauperum Hospitalis frater. Witnesses: Mathaeus Tuluppensis; Herveus constabularius; Constantinus Bastardus; Barrigan Corizii dominus; Benzo; Robertus de Ravandella; Martinus castellanus Turbascelli; Isimbardus; Americus Areville; Naimus Jove; Tezelinus; Berardus.
