October 10. Anagni. Pope Alexander IV writes to Patriarch [Jacques Pantaléon] of Jerusalem, papal legate, informing him of the previous letter and ordering him, if the master and brothers refuse to carry out the papal mandate, to compel them to do so with ecclesiastical censure, after a warning, without appeal, not withstanding any indulgences to the contrary.
