July 1 – 31. Archbishop Henri of Nazareth, with the support of his chapter, has leased (livre en apaut) to William of Chastel Neuf (Guillaume de Chastel Neuf) and the brother of the Order, four casalia that we own in Batof, which are in the diocese of Nazareth: Rome, Romene, Cafreezeir and Cane of Galilee with all their rights and appurtenances for ten years in time of truce, as us et as costumes of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. These casals comprise 200 carrucates: Rome 80; Remene 40; Quefreezier 30; Cane 50. For the first year the Hospitallers are to pay 1,300 Saracen besants of the Acre weight in August; the second year they pay 1,800 besants and for the rest of the ten years, 2,300 besants. The archbishop attaches his seal as does Guillaume archdeacon of Nazareth, frater Johan de Brebant, bailli of Nazareth, frater Pierre and frater Marc, brothers of the church of Nazareth, and Johan Harneis and Johan de Nazareth, knights, homes liges of the archbishop, Johan Semes, bais of Saphorie, and Boteros his son our scriba and many others.
