. September 11. Anagni. Pope Innocent IV writes to Count Alphonse d’Eu, chamberlain of France, son of the late king of Jerusalem, John of Brienne (Jean de Brienne), and the noble woman Marie, his wife, responding to their request by granting that they and their children cannot be summoned outside the diocese of Meaux via a papal letter for a legal case concerning property they have in that diocese, unless the letter quotes this indulgence in full and verbatim with their names. Valid for five years.
