Pope Innocent IV writes to Brother Blasio, Genoese monk of the Cistercian Order, relating that he has learned that on his ordinary authority the bishop of Tripoli conferred the vacant priorate of the church of St Michael of Tripoli of the Order of St Augustine, whose conferral pertains to the bishop, [on the addressee], and the pope grants the addressee a special privilege that, notwithstanding that he is said to be a monk of another order or that the disposition of the priorate had devolved on the pope because of the lapse of time, the addressee cannot be removed from the priorate by anyone without special papal mandate quoting this indulgence in full and verbatim.
