. March 26. Perugia. Pope Innocent IV writes to [John of Ibelin count of Jaffa and lord of Ramla], agreeing to his prayers by granting him and his wife [Maria], children and household that when the land is under general interdict they can hear the divine offices in places then allowed by papal indulgence, with doors closed, excommunicates and people under interdict excluded, without ringing bells and with low voices, as long as they have given no cause for the interdict and are not under special interdict.
