. March 24. Perugia. Considering his devotion, Pope Innocent IV writes to John of Ibelin count of Jaffa and lord of Ramla, answering his request by granting that no papal or legatine delegate, subdelegate, executor or conservator can promulgate sentences of excommunication against him, his wife [Maria], his children or his household, or place his lands under interdict, without special papal mandate making full and express mention of this indulgence. Valid for five years.
