. December 18. Perugia. Pope Innocent IV writes to Bishop [Alberto] of Modena, relating that, since Canon Guido of Tripoli, son of the noble man Rolandino dei Roberti, intends to resign his canonry and prebend in that church, the pope orders the addressee, himself or through another, to receive the resignation and confer the canonry and prebend on the student Albertino, the son of the same noble, since he is of clerical status, having him or his agent received as canon and brother, various obstacles notwithstanding.
