Pope Innocent III writes to the bishop of Lydda (Liddensis) and the bishop-elect of Bethlehem (Bethlemitanus), relating that he was informed on behalf of the bishop and chapter of Hebron (Ebronenses) that many of the goods of the church of Hebron (Ebronensis) have been illicitly alienated and taken away, to he orders the addressees to recall what has been alienated or taken away to the right and property of that church, notwithstanding any possessions, instruments, or letters granted to any persons, or punishments, oaths, or confirmations obtained from the Apostolic See in common form and the constitution De duabus dietis, as long as the other side is not drawn more than three or four days away from their diocese for trial, forcing those who contradict with ecclesiastical censure. One can carry it out if both cannot.
