. June 9. Genoa. Pope Innocent IV writes to the podestà, the council and the commune of Genoa, responding to their prayers by confirming and strengthening their ancient customs, liberties, immunities, privileges and indulgences reasonably granted by popes, patriarchs, archbishops, bishops or other prelates of churches, or kings and other faithful, along with their lands, possessions, towns, castles, houses, rights and jurisdictions that they have in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the County of Tripoli and the Principality of Antioch.
