Before May 12. Queen Rusudan of Georgia [Russutana regina de Aneguia] informs Pope Honorius of the death of her brother the king and excuses herself from answering the call for assistance from the papal legate at Damietta because of the incursions and damage done by the Tartari. She is sending Iohannes her comestabulus to support the emperor Frederick when he arrives. She is sending David episcopus de Hanii to inform the pope personally.
