Feb. 20. Lateran. Pope Celestine III writes to the clergy, magnates and people of Cyprus. A[imericus] dominus Cipri has sent magister B. archidiaconus Laodicensis to Rome to express his desire to bring the church there into conformity. The pope appoints magister B. archidiaconus Laodicensis and A[lanus] cancellarius Cypri his representatives, with legatine authority on the issue of the payment of tithes and church property.
