Raiembaldus de Rauca and Raymundus Pandulfi record that they were present when Bernardus Willelmi, who is said to come from Fraxinum [Fresnay?] and was on pilgrimage to Jerusalem, fell ill in Tripoli and died. On his deathbed Bernardus affirmed that he had made an eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem of his fief [honor] in Olibana. Witnesses: Berengarius S. Felicis abbas Girunde; Bertrannus, prior Hospitalis Montis Peregrinorum; Durandus Tripolitanus archidiaconus; Berengarius Cort ....; Guillelmus Pontius; Petrus Vivariensis, who wrote the charter.

text: Jul. 17. Tripoli. Johannes vicecomes Tripolitanus and his wife domina Wilelma record how Wilelma’s mother domina Alemandina, the wife of dominus Rollandus de S. Muntando, left in her will on her death as an eleemosynary gift an annual rent of 10 besants to the poor of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, to be drawn from her inheritance. Johannes and Wilelma, who after [the death of] dominus Rostandus are Alemandina’s heirs, confirm this gift under seal. Witnesses: Pontius de Sura; dominus Saissus; Willelmus Catalani; Rollandus Dauria; Poncius Bos; Willelmus de Bez[on]s; Willelmus de Antiochia. The charter was drawn up by frater Arnaudus Lombardus preceptor domus Hospitalis Montis Peregrini and was written by Stephanus sacerdos vicecomitis.

text: Oct. 18. Acre. In the house of the Hospital of St John. Henricus comes Ruthenensis, who is gravely ill, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, represented by frater Garinus de Monteacuto magister, of extensive properties in France. He makes the gift in appreciation of the services he has received from the Order while in Syria. He wishes to receive the Order’s habit on the day of his death and to be buried in its cemetery. He asks his wife A. and son B. to carry out his wishes. Witnesses: Guillelmus Burdegalensis archiepiscopus; magister Bertrandus; Petrus Maurinus; Bertrandus de Mazerolis miles; Guibertus del Bos miles; Mironus de Ruppe miles; Gerardus; Bernardonus; P.
