text: April. 28. Jerusalem. Baldwin, per dei gratiam in sancta civitate Ierusalem Latinorum rex sextus, makes a sealed eleemosynary grant to the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and its magister Rogerius de Molinis of 100 tents [tentoria] of Beduini at Bellum Videre, who will be under the Order’s authority even when outside the kingdom’s borders. Witnesses: Princeps Renaldus Montis Regalis et Ebronensis domnus; comes Iocelinus regius senescalcus; Renaldus Sydonensis domnus; Balduinus de Ybelino; Balianus frater eius. The charter was drawn up by Willelmus Tyrensis archiepiscopus regisque cancellarius.
